Ugh, I hope that didn't happen in a breathtaking moment...
Second hand mostly means buying an air pump, not that much better than yours. Only recommendable if it has run less than 30.000 mls, but this is hard to proof.
Some of us have the rear shock of the GSXR1100W mounted, but this is a little shorter. Sometimes available with low mileage, some of these guys have changed them with racing shocks.
Here in Germany we have a company which reworks used shocks, but I don't know if it is a good idea to make this deal from GB.

Have a look at this site:
http://www.so-products.com/shop/product" onclick="window.open(this.href,'_blank');return false; ... MZ506.html

The shock is € 350,-- incl. VAT and it´s brandnew. YSS is not so bad. I have sold a few of them during the last months.
But they need up to four weeks to deliver.

To repair your´s would cost from appr. 230,-- in Germany, a used one comes from € 100 if you can get one.

everything else starts with € 499,--

Another idea: call these guys up in Aberdeen they´ve got nearly everything (used parts)

Anyone know if the shock from a GSXR 1100 K, L, M will fit?

As a matter of interest the rear shock on my mate Jeffs GSX1100F blew on the way to Kelso the other week, it spit him off near Otterburn, writing off his bike and bashing him up pretty good.

I take it Big George didn't have a spare shocker Andy?

Doing the Invader Andy, but am looking forward to the East coast trip to Rogart in September.
We are extending that weekend to a week long Jolliday at Brora, staying at the croft where i was doing a of bit work.
I hear there are some beasties to be blootered up there.
